The Galena Center for the Arts is proud to champion local creativity through our resident artist program. We offer 11 affordable studio spaces—nine on the main floor and two on the lower level—designed to serve as business incubators where working artists can thrive. Whether you seek a quiet, private workspace or a vibrant community of creative peers, you will find the ideal environment to elevate your practice here.
As part of our community, studio artists enjoy unique perks, including automatic inclusion in our annual Studio Artist Showcase Gallery exhibition every January. We currently have one lower-level studio available immediately, followed by a main-floor studio opening this October. Our Regional Gallery and gift shop showcase a vibrant mix of styles from local Tri-State artists. With seven themed exhibitions a year, our space completely transforms every two months. Explore a selection of our current exhibiting artists below.

The Artist's Circle: Our Legacy / Memorial Collection

The Artists' Circle celebrates the legacy of our region's most beloved creators. An integral part of the Center's permanent collection, this special memorial display features original works generously donated by families, estates, and loyal patrons. You can honor the lasting impact of these late artists by visiting their artwork, located near the Alfie Mueller Historic Photo Gallery and the Artist Resource Library.
